What we do

Little Leaders Learning Center is a non-profit child development center dedicated to providing quality early childhood education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. For over 25 years, we have made a positive impact on the lives of thousands of young children and their families in the River Parishes.

About Us

Founded in 1998, Little Leaders Learning Center is a Louisiana licensed preschool program that offers high-quality education and care in a nurturing, positive environment. Our mission is to support the spiritual, emotional, social, academic, and physical development of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Through daily activities in a loving and safe atmosphere, we prepare each child for a successful future in society.

Students

Little Leaders Learning Center welcomes children from 6 weeks to 5 years old (pre-kindergarten) and is licensed to serve up to 72 children. Our classes are primarily organized by age, but we also consider each child’s strengths, interests, and special needs to ensure the best placement. We focus on progressive development tailored to each child’s unique interests and abilities. Our low student-teacher ratios ensure that every child receives personalized attention and care.

Teachers

Under the leadership of Owner/Operator Rita Perrilloux, Little Leaders Learning Center has brought together a diverse and talented teaching staff dedicated to delivering exceptional daily instruction to our students. Our certified professional teachers and administrators are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable and secure. Our educators are entrusted with implementing a comprehensive curriculum designed to support the holistic development of each child, meeting program goals through active physical play, and fostering social, emotional, and language skills. We are devoted to providing every student with the tools and experiences they need to reach their fullest potential.
